Your Weekend Plans Start Here: Bike Month Begins

Hey everyone! Bike Month is HERE and we have enough activities to keep you busy all weekend! So strap on your helmet (if you want), grab your favorite pair of wheels and dive in:

Start at CicloIrvine on Saturday — but get there in style. Our friends at Lillördag will be leading a ride from Harbor Christian Church (off of Irvine Avenue) all the way up to the event streets. Meet the crew at 10:00am on May 4 and pedal you way to Orange County’s biggest open street event yet!

And even if you don’t pedal there, we still hope to see you there. CicloIrvine will run from 11am-4pm on Saturday, May 4. The CicloIrvine website also has some great info as well about parking and taking Irvine’s newest transit line - the Irvine Connect - if you want to try that out this weekend as well! Let’s go and support our neighboring city as it hosts its first open street event.

Council Member Arlis Reynolds is back with her bike ride series with a Cinco de Mayo ride around Fairview Park! Join her and local bicycling enthusiast Jim Erickson as they lead some easy, family friendly loops around Fairview Park, which is looking just stunning at the moment. Meet at the picnic shelter in Fairview Park at 10:30am on Sunday, May 5 to join in on the fun!

See you out there!
